National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) is observed on 31st October to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. On this occasion in 2025, our college organized a Unity Pledge ceremony. The Principal administered the pledge to students and staff, emphasizing the importance of national integration, peace, and unity. The program encouraged students to uphold the values of unity in diversity and to contribute towards the strength and integrity of the nation.

National Voters’ Day is celebrated on 25th January every year to encourage electoral participation and promote awareness about the importance of voting. In 2026, our college observed the day with enthusiasm. The program included an awareness session on the significance of voting, emphasizing the role of youth in strengthening democracy. Faculty members addressed students on their rights and responsibilities as voters. Students actively participated in activities such as pledge taking, discussions, and awareness programs. The Voters’ Pledge was administered to inspire students to vote responsibly and ethically. The celebration aimed to create awareness about democratic values and motivate students to become informed and active citizens.

National Constitutional Day (Samvidhan Divas) is observed on 26th November 2025 to mark the adoption of the Constitution of India. On this occasion, our college organized a Preamble Reading Ceremony. The Principal, staff, and students collectively read the Preamble, reaffirming their commitment to the values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. The program created awareness among students about constitutional values and their role as responsible citizens.

As part of the Vicennial Celebrations of the RTI Act, 2005, PSC & KVSC Government Degree College, Nandyal organized various competitions at the NRC level on 26th July 2025. A total of 36 students actively participated in Essay Writing and Elocution competitions. The event aimed to create awareness about transparency, accountability, and the importance of the Right to Information in strengthening democracy. Students showcased their knowledge and communication skills, making the program both informative and engaging.

A Mock Assembly Live Streaming Session was successfully conducted at PSC & KVSC Government Degree College, Nandyal for B.A. students on 11th August 2025. The session aimed to provide practical exposure to parliamentary procedures and enhance students’ understanding of legislative functioning. During the program, students actively participated by assuming roles such as Speaker, Ministers, and Members of the Assembly. They engaged in debates, question hour, and discussion of public issues, reflecting real-time legislative practices. The session was live-streamed, enabling a wider audience to witness the proceedings and encouraging digital engagement in academic activities. This initiative helped students develop critical thinking, public speaking, leadership skills, and awareness of democratic processes. Overall, the session was interactive, educational, and contributed significantly to experiential learning in political science.
