The Department of Zoology at PSC & KVSC Government College, Nandyal, conducted an awareness program on *World AIDS Day*. The initiative aimed to educate students about HIV/AIDS, its prevention, and the importance of public health awareness. C. Madhanna, Lecturer in English, was invited as the guest speaker to deliver a special talk. He highlighted key aspects of HIV/AIDS, including causes, modes of transmission, preventive measures, and the importance of creating a stigma-free environment for affected individuals. The program was actively supported by Sri P. Ramanjaneyulu, Contract Lecturer in Zoology, along with the Zoology students, who participated in organizing and facilitating the event. The students also engaged in discussions, asked questions, and demonstrated their understanding of the topic. The awareness program successfully educated and sensitized the students about HIV/AIDS.
