VISION:The Mathematics Department serves PSC&KVSC Govt Degree College purpose by providing a comprehensive and demanding academic curriculum. We strive to deliver high-quality undergraduate mathematics education that caters to the demands of a varied student body and state population

Our students will be exceptional Mathematical learners not just in science and but also in good citizenship and discipline.

Our goal is to produce well-rounded knowledge seekers and humanitarian individuals capable of contributing to the development of a strong and developed nation.

The Mathematical Department offers a variety of mathematics programmes, including:

courses, curriculum, and instructional practises that support effective student learning; a variety of courses and curriculum relevant to specific focus areas, such as courses for undergraduate students majoring in Mathematics students enrolled in Science programmes, students enrolled in the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, and a core set of mathematics courses and curriculum for future teachers.

The purpose of these programmes of study is to provide all of our students with the conceptual understanding, computational abilities, and persistent disposition needed to effectively employ quantitative reasoning and analysis in their personal and professional life. We hope to provide stimulating mathematical opportunities for mathematics majors and graduate students. We want to provide stimulating mathematical experiences for graduate students that will help them succeed in their future careers, whether it's through practical application of mathematics or contributions to the mathematical profession through teaching, productive scholarship, and active participation in professional organisations.

We also want to encourage and support:

an environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, inquiry, and active learning among our staff, faculty, and students; equity, inclusion, and diversity among our staff, faculty, and students, with the goal of increasing participation from historically underrepresented groups in mathematics; faculty growth as both teachers and scholars of mathematics with active research and professional involvement; opportunities for close interaction between students and faculty, both in and out of the classroom;
