About Jawahar Knowledge Center (JKC)
JKC (Jawahar Knowledge Centre) was initiated by the government of
Andhra Pradesh in 2005.It has evolved into a dynamic and student friendly
platform to accommodate the job aspirations to students in degree colleges. It has
successfully risen to the challenge of training students in skills relevant to the
needs of job industry and is continuously helping them adapt to the global business
enrolment. JKCs were established across the state and students are trained in
communication skills, soft skills, analytical skills and computer skills.
Students belong to commerce stream have the opportunity of undergoing
training in Financial Accounting package. The students trained in JKCs are shown
placements opportunity in noted and well reputed companies and MNCs.
Jawahar knowledge Centre (JKC) was established in the college to make the
student with stand the competition in job market regarding multinational
companies like Infosys, Wipro and so on. In the wake of rising need for equipping
the student who aspire to get private as well as Govt. jobs in the changing scenario
of liberalization, privatization and globalization (LPG), Jawahar Knowledge
Centre (JKC) has been incepted in the year 2005 in the college. During the past 5
years about 400 students were trained through JKC on communication skills, soft
skills.
In our college a total of around 130 students were trained in every academic
year. Students trained in analytical skills, computer skills, communication skills
and soft skills.
JKC classes are very useful to students to develop their communication
skills, soft skills, analytical skills and computer skills.
After completion of the course two grand tests are conducted. One is college
level grand test and second one is State level grand test by CCE, JKCMC.
Certificates are distributed to JKC students.
During the Covid 19 JKC are strengthened by introducing Online skill
development courses by JKCMC. The following are the courses

28 Students got certified in Microsoft Nasscom
48 Students registered in Microsoft Upskill program
In this year, JKC Students G. Devi III B.Com CA and M. Kalam Basha
III MPCs got selected to Infosys BPO.
